The Imperial Palace is known for its Asian theme, but for a few things more specifically. One is the popular Luau and Polynesian Revue that takes place on the pool deck every Tuesday and Thursday. It is recommended to get tickets early as this packs out fast. The Imperial Palace is also the home of the world's finest classic auto collection featuring more than 250 classic autos on display and for sale.

Another major thing that the hotel is known for is the Imperial Theater featuring Legends in Concert, which is a series of re-creations of legendary Vegas performers. This shows nightly. Paying homage to the show and performers featured are the dealers at the casino who are celebrity impersonators themselves, featuring such stars as Dolly Parton, Little Richard, Reba McIntyre, and of course Elvis. While these impersonators may not be of the A+ level, it is still an enjoyable feature of the casino.

The hotel features an Olympic size pool and Jacuzzi, which is sizable but not particularly impressive for Vegas standards. There is also a token exercise area and spa which is functional but not especially noteworthy.

There are plenty of nice places to dine at the Imperial Palace, including Embers, which is an elegant steak and lobster restaurant, also the Seahouse, which is a romantic Cape Cod style seafood restaurant. Also worth visiting are the Rib House and the Ming House Chinese Restaurant.
